Our people
Robert Knowles FRICS FCABE MWPWS - Director
Robert Knowles founded the practice in 1990 and is a well-respected Manchester based Chartered Building Surveyor.
Robert has a wealth of experience in delivering core Building Surveying instructions, in addition to acting as Contract Administrator and Project Manager. Robert is a practicing Energy Performance Certificate assessor and utilises his knowledge of modern efficiency improvements to assist Clients in finding practical solutions to comply with energy efficiency legislation.
Robert is married with three children (one of them now his business partner!). He enjoys watching football and Saturday morning 5km park runs.
Andrew Knowles BSc (Hons) MRICS IMaPS - Director
Andrew Knowles is an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor having worked and developed the Newcastle office for a national Building Consultancy firm for over fifteen years, prior to establishing Knowles & Co.’s Newcastle office.
Andrew has a proven track record at delivering projects for his Clients across a multitude of sectors and variety of instructions, with significant experience across the retail sector.
Andrew is married with two children. He also enjoys following Manchester City FC, running and listening to music.
Anthony Frarey BSc (Hons) MRICS - Associate Director
Anthony is an Associate Director Building Surveyor with over 6 years’ experience within the commercial industry, with 3 years post qualification experience.
Anthony has experience on a variety of sectors including retail, light industrial, office, student accommodation and medical providing all core Building Surveying services.
In his spare time, Anthony follows his hometown football club, Aston Villa FC, and paddleboards at Cullercoats.
